Many
businesses sell baby attire. However, the sector I want to analyse is the
knitted babywear sector. To find these businesses, I will be searching keywords
into Google and see what activities show up. The businesses that I was able to
find were: Mabli, Etsy and Muoi. These are the top three companies that sell
knitted babywear. As we can see there is not a variety of businesses for
customers to choose from; therefore I will not be inserting myself into a
highly saturated industry. When scouting for these companies, I also stumbled
across a baby business called ‘Baby Mori’. At first, I was not interested in
them because they did not sell knitted garments; however, that does not mean
that they are not competition for me. For this reason, I will be researching
into this brand also.
By researching into existing businesses, I will allow
myself to understand where I stand as a business, look into what customers are
into and learn from the previous companies have made before. I will be focusing
on their websites, products made and their presence on social media.
